Tristen Johnson & Grace Winrod are Celebrating the Holiday Season Early This Year
With the end of the semester quickly approaching, many senior projects are underway. The final senior project will be a Christmas-inspired performance/presentation hosted by Tristen G. Johnson and Grace Winrod - hence the name, “Merry Tristmas, Happy HoliGrace!" The event will take place on Wednesday, April 26th, at 6 pm in the Marion Center and admission is free.
Johnson and Winrod’s senior project will feature a glimpse of Tristen’s upcoming Christmas album. The release date of the album is TBD. Johnson will perform three original songs from the album. One of those songs will include a performance by Tiffin University’s fuck/fusion band Word on the Street.
In addition to the performance, Grace will show a presentation on the music business and her artist managerial duties over the last few months. There will be a “behind the scenes” video that includes interviews from Johnson and Winrod about the album.
Following the presentation and performance, there will be a viewing of "The Polar Express." Everyone is welcome to attend! The viewing party will include hot chocolate, cookies, and popcorn. There will be two specialty drinks from The Wall Street Pub & Grill inspired by the event that will be available to buy. The drinks are the “Merry Tristmas” and the “Happy HoliGrace.”
Guests are also encouraged to wear holiday attire for this “Christmas in April” celebration. Come out and enjoy a night filled with Christmas cheer and holiday spirit, despite it being spring!
Thank you in advance to all who attend! Your support towards Johnson and Winrod, as well as the rest of the senior class, is greatly appreciated!
